Benita currently serves as VP & Chief Marketing Officer of The Gospel Industry Network and is on the Board of Directors & VP of The United International Arts Expo, Limited of Barbados and is a board member of the ALIAS Chamber Ensemble of Nashville. She is an active member of The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Grammys) where she serves as a Grammy U Mentor.
Benita is a professionally trained dancer and classical pianist who was crowned Miss Buccaneer at East Tennessee State University while in college. Benita was the first and only African-American to hold that crown and to be awarded a Floyd Kramer Piano Scholarship at ETSU. Benita is the author of BORN 2 Be, a 31 day devotional, and has a nationally syndicated radio segment “The Music Industry Minute”.

She has promoted hits and steered the careers of Smokie Norful, Aaron Neville, Bishop T.D. Jakes, The Blind Boys of Alabama, and CeCe Winans to name a few. Benita and her company have also represented the OWN Network and Lionsgate TV’s hit series GREENLEAF, The American Heart Association, and platinum selling Jazz artist Ben Tankard.
